About the role
The company is seeking an IT Support Technician to join its team in San Salvador. The role focuses on maintaining the health of computer systems, networks, and point‑of‑sale servers, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and monitoring of servers at retail points of sale.
- Verify and maintain network links and connectivity.
- Repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on computers, peripherals, and related hardware.
- Analyze operational risks and implement measures to prevent service disruptions.
- Respond to technical requests from management and provide timely solutions.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Systems Engineering or a related field.
- At least one year of professional experience in systems, networking, or IT support.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with Oracle Database and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of operating systems, computer hardware, and network communications.
