Shipping Specialist

About the role

The Shipping Specialist provides front‑line support to customers, handling inbound inquiries related to shipments and ensuring a smooth, satisfactory experience. Working closely with operational teams, the role balances problem‑solving with accurate record‑keeping in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and deliver professional customer service for shipping‑related concerns.
• Assist customers with shipment location queries, tracking information, and resolve service issues efficiently.
• Process pickup requests, coordinate with operational teams, and escalate complex matters to the appropriate department.
• Maintain accurate records of each interaction and follow established shipping procedures and policies.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new policies, ensure confidentiality of account information, and log call details in the system.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B1 CEFR or higher).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or support, preferably in a contact‑center or BPO environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, detail‑orientation, and good organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing procedures, and thrive in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in navigating computer systems and using standard office software.
