About the role

At TELUS Digital, the Clinical & Medical AI Expert safeguards medical truth in AI systems. You will work with a global AI community to train large language models on complex diagnostics, pharmacology and patient‑care logic, ensuring that AI reasoning meets the rigor of board‑certified professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Audit AI “Chain‑of‑Thought” reasoning for medical diagnostics to ensure compliance with international clinical protocols such as ICD‑11 and DSM‑5.
• Verify AI‑generated drug interactions, dosage recommendations and contraindications against peer‑reviewed literature.
• Precisely label complex datasets—including MRI/CT scans, pathology reports and genomic data—to improve visual‑spatial reasoning of models.
• Identify and neutralise “medical hallucinations” that could cause patient harm, creating safety guardrails for clinical environments.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MD/MBBS), Pharmacy (PharmD), Nursing or Biomedical Sciences.
• Native‑level proficiency (C2+) in your primary language to interpret regional medical terminology.
• English proficiency of at least B1 for technical research and reporting.
• Successful completion of a subject‑specific qualification exam and ID verification.

• Pay rates ranging from $20 – $50 USD per hour, defined per project.
