Accountant – Full Cycle Finance Specialist

About the role

DitoBanx El Salvador is looking for a qualified Accountant to manage and supervise the company’s complete accounting cycle. You will ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time, supporting the firm’s fintech operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and oversee the full accounting cycle, from journal entries to financial statements.
• Maintain precise and timely records of all financial operations.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations.
• Support tax, commercial, labor, and anti‑money‑laundering reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting.
• Active professional accountant license.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS, Salvadoran Tax Code, Commercial Code, labor legislation, and AML/CTF regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with accounting software/tools.
