Accountant II (AR) - ELS

About the role

The Accountant II will manage cash allocation for top partners in a new program and oversee collection activities for customer accounts. This position supports financial risk mitigation across multiple business units within Blackhawk Network's shared services accounting department.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor incoming receipts and allocate cash to partner accounts promptly.
• Use AR aging tools to manage accounts, identify past‑due balances, and initiate customer contact.
• Reconcile customer balances, analyze invoice‑level data, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely top‑ups and address payment disputes.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly closing checklists, reports, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and ad‑hoc billing queries.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration or related field with 1‑3 years of experience.
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Experience in accounts receivable and cash allocation.
• Detail‑oriented, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Availability to work early schedule (2:00 am – 12:00 pm) and weekends.
