Analista de Importaciones y Compras Internacionales

About the role

We are looking for an Import and International Purchasing Analyst to manage end‑to‑end import processes and support the international supply chain at Grupo INVE. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, freight agents, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Manage international purchase orders from placement to receipt of goods.
• Track suppliers, shipments, freight forwarders, and import procedures.
• Analyze import costs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate and control all import‑related documentation.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist demand‑planning activities.
• Negotiate commercial terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Monitor arrival dates and proactively address potential delays.
• Keep purchase, inventory, and shipment data up to date.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in the sourcing workflow.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics or related field.
• At least 3 years proven experience in imports, international purchasing, or international logistics.
• Experience negotiating and managing national and international suppliers.
• Knowledge and practical application of Incoterms.
• Experience handling shipment tracking, import documentation, and logistics coordination.
• Ability to analyze import costs and manage inventory planning.
• Intermediate English is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with Streamline or other demand‑planning tools.
• Familiarity with SAP (desired).
