Asistente Administrativo Contable

About the role

We are looking for an Administrative Accounting Assistant to join our finance team in San Salvador. The role supports daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, reconciliations and documentation while providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit electronic invoices and other tax documents in compliance with Salvadoran regulations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain both physical and digital records of checks and transfers.
• Monitor client payments, control receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Organize and file accounting and administrative documents, both electronically and in paper format.
• Assist internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and support.
• Deliver courteous customer service, addressing inquiries related to billing and payments.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate in Accounting, Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in invoicing or general accounting.
• Familiarity with Salvadoran tax legislation.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Effective communication skills and a service‑oriented attitude.
• Residence in San Salvador or nearby areas and flexible availability.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems.
