About the role

René Repuestos is seeking a Credit and Collections Assistant with an economic focus to manage credit granting, collections and client portfolio maintenance. The role combines day‑to‑day credit operations with macro‑economic analysis to reduce delinquency and improve cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Review pending cash transactions and evaluate documentation for new credit approvals, assigning response dates.
• Attach supporting documents for credit limit increases and ensure sales documents are complete and chronologically ordered during field visits.
• Assist in building and updating a credit‑risk scoring model that incorporates macro‑economic variables such as inflation, interest rates and exchange rates.
• Generate daily collection routes, make phone calls to clients overdue by more than seven days, and send WhatsApp reminders for one‑day delinquencies.
• Prepare weekly collection‑route reports, verify that client deposits are correctly applied, and reconcile digital payments.
• Create and maintain an accurate client database with identification, legal documents and exact addresses, updating client categories as needed.
• Perform cash‑box certification and petty‑cash verification across multiple branches, and produce weekly delinquency reports.
• Support sales advisors by providing account statements and answering related queries.

Required profile

• Degree or training in Economics, Business Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in credit and collections functions.
• Strong multitasking ability, attention to detail and effective communication.
