Automation Engineer (Remote, Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Automation Engineer to own and evolve the automation infrastructure that drives key business operations for a fast‑growing SaaS startup. This fully remote, full‑time position is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of hands‑on experience building production‑grade workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end automation workflows for lead intake, scoring, routing, enrichment, and CRM synchronization.
• Manage Salesforce automation, including lead lifecycle, object relationships, field mapping, conversion logic, and activity tracking.
• Create automated reporting processes for daily, weekly, and monthly business metrics.
• Support internal operational automations such as candidate screening, meeting intelligence, calendar sync, and credential management.
• Write, debug, and document Python and JavaScript code within automation platforms.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the long‑term automation strategy.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience building multi‑step, multi‑branch automations using Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and workflow automation.
• Experience integrating AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) with prompt engineering and structured outputs.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for automation logic.
• Solid troubleshooting skills with independent problem‑resolution ability.
