About the role

The Operations Assistant supports the department’s daily operational activities, ensuring that storage, handling, and preparation processes meet the organization’s standards and timelines. This role works closely with the sales force and commercial area to guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute operational tasks in line with company strategy and performance indicators.
• Load and unload containers within defined timeframes, respecting product‑type parameters.
• Review import and export documentation to ensure legal compliance.
• Track commercial orders and coordinate with the sales team to meet external client needs.
• Organise physical inventory by expiration dates to keep the “product rotation” KPI up‑to‑date.
• Verify weight, details, and quantities of products for van loading, prioritising routes and customers.
• Monitor temperature logs for storage chambers to maintain product traceability.
• Control inventory of baskets in‑plant and in transit, reporting shortages or excesses.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and product sorting by date.

Required profile

• Secondary school (high school) education.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar operational or logistics role.
