Bank Reconciliation Assistant

About the role

The Bank Reconciliation Assistant ensures that cash amounts recorded in the company's accounting ledgers match the balances reported by banks. The role involves verifying batch files, reviewing bank statements, and confirming that ledger amounts align with financial statement items.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and match combination/batch files to general ledger items in a timely manner.
• Communicate with the Accounts Receivable team to address inquiries and issues.
• Research outstanding reconciling items on assigned accounts, determine the source of discrepancies, notify relevant parties, and follow up until resolved.
• Post month‑end journal entries.

Required profile

• Advanced level of English.
• Studies in finance‑related fields preferred.
• Ability to meet concurrent deadlines.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Effective and tactful interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset and initiative.
• Strong attention to detail.
