Bilingual Bankruptcy Case Manager (Chapter 7 & 13)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Bankruptcy Case Manager to support our U.S. law firm’s Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters. This client‑facing, full‑time position is 100% remote, allowing you to manage cases from intake through preparation while collaborating closely with attorneys and paralegals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of bankruptcy clients from intake to case preparation.
• Collect, review, and organize financial documents such as bank statements, pay stubs, tax returns, IDs, and creditor information.
• Follow up with clients to obtain missing documentation and keep case files up to date.
• Track deadlines, case status, and required documents in the firm’s system.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with bankruptcy procedures.
• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish.
• Support attorneys and paralegals in preparing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings.

Required profile

• Prior experience working for a U.S. bankruptcy law firm.
• Background as a case manager, paralegal, legal assistant, or document collector.
• Hands‑on experience with Chapter 7 and/or Chapter 13 cases.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational, follow‑up, and detail‑oriented abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple cases in a fast‑paced remote environment.
