Carrier Sales Representative (Remote)

About the role

As a Carrier Sales Representative you will build and maintain relationships with carriers to secure capacity and ensure timely, efficient freight movement. You will support transportation operations by negotiating rates, coordinating shipments, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Finding and adding qualified carriers to your network.
• Maintaining daily communication with carriers to build lasting relationships.
• Monitoring carrier capacity and preferred routes to expand business relationships.
• Negotiating carrier rates to ensure desired margins.
• Tracking and tracing shipments to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Matching freight requirements with carrier capacity, equipment and preferred lanes.
• Reaching out and establishing relationships with prospective customers.
• Finding the best solutions for customers' supply chain needs.
• Continuously growing business relationships with new and current customers.

Required profile

• Bilingual – English & Spanish preferred.
• Result oriented.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Persuasion and negotiation.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making.
• Polished communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous motor carrier industry experience preferred.
