About the role

The Accountant will be responsible for the daily management of GALCO's accounting activities. This full‑time, onsite position ensures accurate recording of financial transactions and supports the company’s financial reporting and compliance needs.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements.
• Control invoices, payments, and track collections.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of tax declarations and period‑end closings.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper recording of expenses and revenues.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent training in Accounting, Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency with office tools, especially Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
• Current knowledge of basic accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Effective teamwork, clear communication, and results‑oriented mindset.
