About the role

We are looking for a General Accountant to lead and coordinate the accounting department of a tourism‑focused company located in Playa El Tunco, La Libertad. The role requires solid accounting and tax knowledge, as well as the ability to manage a team and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the accounting area.
• Ensure timely and reliable recording of all operations.
• Prepare financial statements and managerial reports.
• Guarantee compliance with tax obligations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account control.
• Supervise monthly and annual closing processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Public Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions.
• Preferably experience in hotels or restaurants.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise teams.
• High integrity, professional ethics, and strong analytical skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs (NIIF para PYMES).
• Understanding of Salvadoran tax legislation.
