Control Engineering Professor – Teach Classical Control

About the role

Join Key Institute's Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering program as a Control Engineering Professor, teaching classical control through project‑based learning where students solve real‑world problems.

Key responsibilities

• Teach classical control theory and link it to practical applications.
• Facilitate project‑based learning, guiding student teams from specifications through design, simulation and validation.
• Lead laboratory sessions to simulate and test controllers using MATLAB/Simulink or Python.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or a related field.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with control systems and controller design.

Required skills

• Controller design using PID, root‑locus, Bode/Nyquist methods.
• Software: Python (python‑control) or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Desirable experience implementing controllers on embedded hardware such as microcontrollers or PLCs.
