Country Controller - El Salvador

About the role

The Country Controller directly supports the Country CFO in leading the country's financial operations, ensuring strong performance and compliance under the Healthineers Performance System framework. Acting as a key business partner to the Country Head and Management Team, the role drives the execution of financial and operational initiatives, helping maintain profitability, liquidity and compliance. It oversees day-to-day financial processes and works with regional teams to manage financial risks and implement corporate finance policies.

Key responsibilities

• Control country financial operations with the CFO and Country Head, and advise management on finance topics for various units
• Ensure financial liquidity and efficient capital structure, and oversee working capital through receivables, payables and inventory cycles
• Maintain the integrity of books and records, monitor internal controls and guide the implementation of finance policies and standards
• Monitor and report working capital KPIs (DSO, DPO, inventory days) and recommend improvements
• Align equipment delivery with project readiness and develop working capital improvement initiatives
• Promote a culture of cash discipline across sales, procurement, project management and other functions

Required profile

• 5+ years of finance experience with P&L responsibility
• Ability to assess company performance and analyse financial statements
• Knowledge of country-specific laws, regulations and customs
• Leadership experience and strategic mindset aligned with commercial operations
• Fluency in English and Spanish
