About the role

The Local Distribution Account Manager is responsible for organizing, executing, and controlling product distribution using company resources, in close coordination with warehouses and customers. The role ensures that deliveries meet established quality and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design optimal delivery routes.
• Coordinate with subcontracted fleet regarding plant entry times.
• Schedule and control order loading at inventory points.
• Supervise loading to maximize fleet capacity and follow specific loading procedures.
• Monitor transport units on route and send daily reports to the client.
• Administer daily resources, controlling costs while meeting agreed service levels.
• Track subcontractor utilization and provide performance feedback to the client.
• Prepare and control all documentation required for deliveries and returns.
• Deliver documentation to the client according to established procedures.
• Control delivery times and collaborate with the client to meet expectations.
• Prepare documentation for service payment.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma (Bachiller).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar logistics or distribution role.
• Knowledge of 5S methodology and good distribution practices.
