Finance Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Finance Operations Supervisor will lead the coordination and processing of financial data for Ria Money Transfer’s global operations. Based in El Salvador, this role acts as a central liaison, ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and issue resolution across all regions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly KPI reports to monitor team performance.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, sales teams, and senior management to resolve financial issues.
• Supervise task execution and ensure high‑quality report completion.
• Enter and maintain deduction codes for AR analysis and follow‑up.
• Manage and resolve escalations from AR, sales, and other finance operations areas.
• Perform data entry using various methods (BDI, bank downloads, bulk upload, manual posting, smart safe posting, debit terminal posting).
• Analyze and organize financial data, driving continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field (or 2+ years finance operations experience).
• Understanding of general ledger systems; banking process knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English.
• Strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (85%+ competency).
• Ability to interact with all organizational levels and learn new systems quickly.
• Self‑driven, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work the night shift (8 pm – 5 am).
