Financial Analyst

About the role

Applaudo is looking for a Financial Analyst who thrives in a fast‑paced, structured environment. You will work with financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and process integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project invoicing and vendor payments to guarantee financial accuracy.
• Maintain and update financial models using operational and project data.
• Prepare and refresh monthly financial reports for performance tracking.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, revenue planning, and cash‑flow analysis.
• Maintain profitability models, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Monitor collections, project billing, and financial performance across engagements.
• Collaborate with Accounting for revenue recognition, cost allocation, and reconciliations.
• Update labor cost models and assist with financial closing activities.
• Maintain intercompany financial models and funding reconciliations.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Treasury Coordinator, Corporate Accountant or similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, complex formulas, financial modeling).
• Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools.
• Knowledge of IFRS (SMEs or full IFRS).
