Forward Deployment Engineer

About the role

MAIC is looking for a Forward Deployment Engineer to build, operate, and maintain high‑performance, scalable, and reliable services for its platforms and products. You will work closely with field teams and product groups to design sensible systems, automate processes, and ensure smooth production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and operate MAIC software, including monitoring, alerts, configuration management, and updates.
• Deploy new MAIC products across multiple production environments and migrate to the latest infrastructure.
• Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure with a focus on long‑term reliability and scalability.
• Reduce manual operations by automating workflows, processes, and runbooks wherever possible.
• Provide technical support for production incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact; participate in on‑call rotations.
• Develop innovative solutions on MAIC platforms such as PAI, Orca, and Lab to address infrastructure challenges.

Required profile

• Solid engineering education, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
• Strong programming ability with proven mastery of languages such as Java, Go, Python, or JavaScript, supported by certifications or verifiable experience.
