ICT Consultant – End User Support & Network Services

About the role

The International Organization for Migration seeks an ICT Consultant to deliver end‑user support and coordinate ICT solutions for its country office. The role ensures the reliability and security of IT networks, systems and services in line with IOM’s ICT strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support, diagnose issues, and deliver timely solutions.
• Install, configure, and administer network connectivity, on‑premise and cloud applications, and ensure service availability.
• Monitor and maintain systems and networks daily, analyse performance, and resolve incidents.
• Support business and disaster‑recovery testing for mission technology services.
• Respond to information‑security incidents, update the IT risk register, and coordinate with security teams.
• Manage operating‑system and software‑patch updates for workstations and devices.
• Assist regional and central ICT units in rolling out cybersecurity initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver Tier 1 user support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Experience installing and managing network infrastructure and cloud services.
• Familiarity with system monitoring, performance analysis, and incident response.
• Capability to follow disaster‑recovery and cybersecurity procedures.
