Ingeniero Preventa – Desarrollo de Productos Electrónicos

About the role

The Pre‑sales Engineer will lead the full lifecycle of electronic products and systems, from technical concept and hardware/firmware design to industrialisation and final delivery. The role blends solid engineering expertise with management skills to ensure projects meet quality, schedule and budget targets.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer or business requirements into hardware, embedded software and mechanical specifications.
• Coordinate design engineers, PCB specialists, firmware developers and test teams.
• Monitor prototype progress, schematics, flow diagrams and simulations to guarantee viable and functional designs.
• Manage material costs (BOM), licences and manufacturing timelines to avoid financial overruns.
• Ensure products comply with international certifications (CE, UL, RoHS) and electrical safety standards.
• Work with EMS manufacturers and PCB suppliers to secure component supply and production quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Telecommunications or related field.
• Age between 25 and 50 years.
• Own vehicle.
• Project‑management certification (PMP or Agile) is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EDA tools such as Altium, Eagle or KiCad.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN).
• Experience with real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with SMT and THT electronic assembly processes.
