Labor Relations Analyst (Junior HR Operations)

About the role

The Labor Relations Analyst provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, ensuring employee documentation, contracts and related processes are completed accurately, consistently and on time. This junior‑level position focuses on maintaining compliant employee records and supporting HR throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage employment contracts, addendums, letters and acknowledgements using approved templates, and coordinate employee signatures.
• Create, organize and maintain personnel files in both physical and digital formats, and ensure HRIS data is up‑to‑date.
• Support hiring and onboarding by collecting new‑hire documentation, coordinating background checks, and facilitating contract and policy acknowledgements.
• Process routine employee changes such as promotions, salary adjustments, transfers and terminations, and maintain accurate movement records.
• Assist with attendance and leave administration, validating reports and documenting absences, vacations and medical leave.
• Provide administrative support for disciplinary and employee‑relations processes, preparing documentation and maintaining confidential records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Legal Sciences or a related field (completed or in progress).
• 6–12 months of HR administrative experience or relevant internship/academic experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
• Basic knowledge of HR processes and, preferably, Salvadoran labor regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and use HRIS, payroll, attendance and other HR systems.
