Laravel & React Developer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel and React developer to join its fast‑growing, fully remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building modern web applications that combine robust back‑end APIs with responsive front‑end interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) applications and RESTful APIs.
• Implement front‑end features using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate with Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to deliver high‑quality, user‑centric solutions.
• Take ownership of tasks, provide accurate estimates, and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel, preferably version 8 or newer.
• Strong understanding of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in building APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Experience with front‑end development (React, Vue.js, or Laravel Livewire); Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive mindset and ability to align with client goals.
