Loan Onboarding Specialist

About the role

We're looking for a detail-oriented, operationally minded, and proactive Loan Onboarding Specialist. This role is ideal for a financial professional skilled in deal structuring, underwriting coordination, lender relations, and end-to-end transaction management.

Key responsibilities

• Structure commercial financing deals, gather and analyze client financial and legal documents, and prepare loan applications, business plans and executive summaries.
• Match deals with suitable lenders, present them, negotiate rates, fees and terms, and maintain ongoing lender relationships.
• Onboard clients, provide status updates, resolve underwriting conditions, and coordinate the closing process through to funding.
• Support internal sales teams, upload data to Kaaj, update HubSpot, monitor pipelines, ensure compliance and train new team members.

Required profile

• Proven track record in commercial lending, loan origination, financial analysis, or underwriting support.
• Strong ability to evaluate financial statements, business plans and cash flow projections.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills for managing client and lender expectations.
• Hands‑on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and financial analysis systems (e.g., Kaaj).
