Network Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

RSM is seeking a highly experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network and security solutions for mid‑market and enterprise clients. The role acts as a senior technical leader, guiding architecture, deployment, and ongoing operations across routing, switching, wireless, SD‑WAN, and cloud networking technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise network and security solutions aligned with vendor best practices and industry standards.
• Oversee remote deployment activities for routing, switching, wireless, SD‑WAN, and security infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking, security, and connectivity issues across client environments.
• Provide technical leadership during project delivery, managed‑services engagements, and escalation scenarios.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, architecture documentation, standards, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Review client environments and recommend improvements for security, resiliency, scalability, and operations.
• Collaborate with project managers, delivery teams, sales, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Stay current on emerging networking, security, cloud, and infrastructure technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Current Cisco CCIE certification.
• Extensive experience with enterprise routing, switching, wireless networking, network segmentation, and security architecture.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, including VLANs, Spanning‑Tree Protocol, dynamic routing protocols, and high‑availability designs.
