Payments Technical Support Specialist

About the role

Join the Payments Operations Team at Ria Money Transfer to provide seamless technical support for our Ria, Xe and Dandelion services across the Americas. You will act as the first point of contact for partners, ensuring smooth payment processing and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support to partners, resolving incidents promptly.
• Detect and investigate anomalies in payment instruction delivery.
• Monitor inbound and outbound global payment transaction flows.
• Maintain and troubleshoot API integrations, including configuration documentation.
• Conduct functional and regression testing of payment systems.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and external vendors.
• Generate performance reports and integration status updates.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in API integration, technical support, or a similar role.
• Experience in regulated environments such as fintech, money‑transfer or banking is a plus.
• Project‑management exposure and familiarity with financial accounting concepts.
• Fluent written and oral communication in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• API integration (Web Services, RESTful, XML, JSON).
• Zendesk and Jira ticketing systems.
• Power BI for reporting (optional).
• Programming languages: Java, Python, PHP.
• API testing tools: Postman, SoapUI.
• AI co‑working tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, NotebookLM (optional).
