Payments Technical Support Specialist

About the role

The Payments Technical Support Specialist provides technical assistance to partners and internal teams across the payments ecosystem. You will ensure smooth operation of payment processes, troubleshoot integration issues, and support the monitoring of transaction flows.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support to partners and resolve payment‑related incidents.
• Monitor payment transactions, detect anomalies and processing issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain API integrations and payment interfaces.
• Conduct functional and regression testing of integrations.
• Analyse technical problems, identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Document configurations, procedures, incidents and resolutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations and external partners to solve complex issues.
• Contribute to process improvements and payment‑operation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical support, API integrations or payment systems.
• Intermediate‑Advanced to Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, XML and JSON.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with programming languages – Java, Python or PHP.
