Proposal Manager, Presales (Remote)

About the role

The Proposal Manager, Presales will own the end‑to‑end development of client‑facing proposals for custom software development and IT professional services. You will coordinate inputs from sales, solution architecture, delivery and professional services to produce coherent, high‑quality documents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proposals and RFx responses from intake through submission, using discovery notes and internal inputs.
• Plan response workflows, assign contributors, manage review cycles and ensure timely delivery.
• Write executive summaries, client understanding, capability narratives and assemble technical, delivery, security and commercial content.
• Maintain vendor registrations, complete security questionnaires and keep standing documents up to date.
• Own the reusable proposal content library, case studies, capability presentations and client references.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience creating client‑facing proposals for software development or technology services.
• Experience with nearshore/offshore delivery models and end‑to‑end response ownership.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent responses.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Upper‑intermediate written English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile delivery.
• Familiarity with RFP, RFQ, RFI processes and security questionnaire responses.
