Regional Business Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Business Controller to lead financial planning, analysis, and control across our client’s industrial operations. The role transforms operational data into high‑impact strategic decisions that drive profitability and efficiency at a regional level.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasts and variance analysis for the industrial division.
• Design, implement and monitor financial and operational KPIs that enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Assess the financial viability of CAPEX projects and conduct cost‑benefit analyses.
• Develop advanced financial models to support strategic and commercial decision‑making in the region.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and champion continuous‑improvement initiatives in resource management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in management control, financial controlling or business analysis, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Proven ability to influence decision‑making and communicate complex financial information in a clear, concise manner.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong experience using data‑visualisation tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• In‑depth knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control and investment project evaluation.
