Security Operations Center (SOC) Specialist

About the role

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Specialist will monitor, analyze and respond to security events across the company's IT environment. Working within the SOC team, the specialist ensures the protection of information assets and supports continuous operational availability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze real‑time security alerts and events to identify patterns, assess impact and classify incidents.
• Provide incident response support following established procedures to mitigate risks and restore normal operations.
• Configure, maintain and update SOC security tools to ensure effective threat detection and response.
• Conduct penetration testing simulations and vulnerability assessments to evaluate system resilience.
• Document incidents, actions taken and outcomes for audit trails and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in security operations or a SOC environment.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS and firewall technologies.
• Log monitoring and analysis tools.
• Advanced knowledge of operating system and network security configuration.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST and PCI‑DSS standards.
• Digital forensics and incident management capabilities.
• Threat‑pattern analysis and ethical hacking techniques.
• Malware detection and analysis.
