Senior Python & Golang Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company founded more than 15 years ago, is hiring a Senior Python & Golang Engineer for a fully remote position. You will design, build and optimise robust backend systems and microservices, ensure the reliability of core application services and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend services using Python and Go.
• Design and optimise high-performance APIs using REST and GraphQL.
• Maintain and improve core application functionality, keeping systems scalable and low-latency.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical blockers independently and recommend system improvements.
• Work with product and engineering teams to turn business needs into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, backend development or a related field.
• Proven expertise in backend development with Python and Golang.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as a senior engineer, identifying blockers and communicating issues.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of HTTP fundamentals and networking protocols.
