Sourcing Lead – Knowledge Services

About the role

GEP is seeking a Sourcing Lead for its Knowledge Services practice. In this position you will partner with clients and internal teams to plan and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings and supplier excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop category‑specific requirements and scopes of work aligned with client sourcing strategies.
• Conduct spend analytics and total cost of ownership assessments to identify measurable savings opportunities.
• Design and manage RFx processes, lead supplier negotiations, and support negotiation strategies.
• Oversee supplier selection, provide data‑driven recommendations, and collaborate on contractual agreements with legal and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Client Category Managers or SMEs to define sourcing methodology and project strategy.
• Execute the full GEP sourcing process, including spend data collection, market analysis, supplier discovery, orientation, and milestone tracking.
• Analyze supplier proposals, facilitate evaluations, prepare concise summaries, and present findings to clients.

Required profile

• Proven sourcing expertise with a strong grasp of sourcing methodology, e‑sourcing tools, and best‑practice techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to perform spend analytics and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end supplier selection and negotiation processes.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with business, legal, and category teams.
