Supervisor de Desarrollo

About the role

We are looking for a Development Supervisor to lead and coordinate the Development area, ensuring proper capacity planning, resource allocation, request handling and compliance with established requirements. The role involves overseeing sample development processes, validating invoiced shipments, managing inventories and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan the area’s capacity based on purchase forecasts and available team capacity.
• Supervise sample development processes, ensuring specifications, timelines and standards are met.
• Validate invoiced shipments and verify the correctness of related information.
• Oversee and validate inventories related to the development area.
• Coordinate assignment of accounts and development requests to the team.
• Prioritize and track development requests according to business needs.
• Monitor, analyze and report department KPIs, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities.
• Lead, coordinate and follow up on team performance.
• Collaborate with involved areas to ensure dates and requirements are met.
• Propose and implement improvements to optimize processes, resources and response times.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supervisory or coordination roles, preferably in product development, sample manufacturing, production or operations.
• Proven experience leading work teams.
• Experience in workload planning and distribution.
• Knowledge of inventory control and KPI monitoring.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Ability to analyze information, identify deviations and make timely decisions.
