Tier 2 Network Support Technician (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Tier 2 Network Support Technician with hands‑on experience in network or NOC support. This 100 % remote position involves independently troubleshooting and resolving escalated WAN/LAN, broadband, VPN, routing, switching, DHCP and DNS issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for network connectivity and infrastructure issues escalated from Tier 1.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to WAN/LAN, broadband circuits, VPN, routing, switching, DHCP and DNS.
• Investigate ISP and circuit outages, coordinate with carriers and manage escalation cases.
• Work directly with ISPs, carriers, and telecommunications providers to open and track circuit‑related tickets.
• Diagnose and fix network equipment configurations in Meraki and/or Fortinet environments.
• Document findings, actions and resolutions clearly in the ticketing system.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in Network Support, NOC or similar roles.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot escalated network issues without relying on senior engineers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with clear English communication.
• Experience working directly with ISPs/carriers to resolve connectivity problems.
