Accounting Advisor

About the role

We are hiring accounting talent to support a US‑based financial services partner. The position is based in El Salvador and offers direct exposure to US clients while performing core bookkeeping tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank, credit‑card and other key accounts.
• Prepare and review Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements.
• Verify payroll and tax documentation for accuracy.
• Close client books monthly for up to 100 accounts to support year‑end tax preparation.
• Partner with the US team and fellow advisors to maintain consistent bookkeeping quality.
• Provide professional email support to clients.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• English level B2 or higher (written and spoken).
• Availability Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
• Ability to work on‑site in El Salvador.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills with high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Gusto, QuickBooks or similar platforms.
