AI Developer (Remote)

About the role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As an AI Developer you will own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role focused on production systems rather than research, and you will work with existing large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, including tool use and function calling.
• Create internal tools that reduce manual hours across design and development processes.
• Build automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• Implement MCP server integrations as part of the broader AI stack.

Required profile

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
