Analista de Importaciones y Compras Internacionales

About the role

The company is looking for a proactive Import and International Purchasing Analyst to manage end‑to‑end import processes and support the supply chain. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, freight agents, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full international purchasing cycle from order placement to goods receipt.
• Track suppliers, shipments, freight forwarders, and import procedures.
• Analyze import costs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate and control all import‑related documentation.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with demand planning.
• Negotiate commercial terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Monitor arrival dates and proactively address potential delays.
• Keep purchase, inventory, and shipment data up to date.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in the sourcing function.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics or related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in imports, international purchasing, or international logistics.
• Experience negotiating and managing national and international suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and import documentation.
• Analytical, organized, detail‑oriented and able to handle multiple processes simultaneously.
• Proactive, solution‑focused with good negotiation skills.
