About the role

The Credit Analyst III will evaluate, recommend, and authorize consumer credit applications, ensuring decisions support healthy portfolio growth, bank profitability, and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and authorize credit requests for products such as personal loans, restructurings, overdrafts, credit cards, and vehicle financing within delegated limits.
• Provide recommendations for applications exceeding delegation, supporting senior decision‑makers with risk assessments.
• Validate information from sales points, conduct investigations to prevent fraud, and comply with anti‑money‑laundering regulations.
• Assess special client scenarios, balancing needs with the bank’s risk tolerance.
• Prepare and present credit proposals to the Credit Committee and Board, adhering to banking law requirements.
• Certify system requirements to ensure correct parameterization and continuity of the credit process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Accounting, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Strong analytical and risk‑judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, make decisive decisions, and collaborate effectively.
• Excellent written and negotiation skills, customer‑service orientation, and adaptability.
