Assistant Bank Reconciliation

About the role

The Bank Reconciliation Assistant ensures that cash amounts recorded in the company’s accounting ledgers match the balances reported by banks. The role involves applying batch files accurately to avoid errors in cash balance calculations and reviewing bank accounts to verify that ledger amounts align with financial statement items.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and process combination/batch files to the general ledger in a timely manner.
• Communicate with the Accounts Receivable team to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Research reconciling items on assigned accounts, determine internal or external origins, notify relevant parties, and follow up until resolved.
• Post month‑end journal entries.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Studies in finance‑related fields preferred.
• Ability to meet concurrent deadlines.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Capability to work autonomously in a creative, dynamic environment.
• Effective and tactful interaction with colleagues.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and initiative.
