Automation Technician

About the role

The Automation Technician will support the continuous improvement of production lines in a leading food and beverage company. The role focuses on maintaining equipment, ensuring safety and hygiene standards, and minimizing unplanned downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automation equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and automation faults to keep packaging lines running.
• Participate in the installation, initial configuration, and testing of new machinery.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, work orders, and modifications in SAP.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or other process‑improvement methodologies to boost line efficiency and productivity.

Required profile

• Graduate in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in continuous improvement and project management.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or similar improvement tools.
• Organized, analytical, and capable of leading multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• SAP (maintenance module) for work‑order management.
• Electrical equipment inspection and maintenance.
• Automation troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Installation and commissioning of new production equipment.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
