Auxiliar de Seguridad Industrial

About the role

The Industrial Safety Assistant will support the implementation and supervision of safety measures at our plant, protecting people, facilities and information. You will conduct regular inspection rounds, verify personal protective equipment, control access, record incidents and assist in emergency protocol execution.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily safety inspections throughout the plant.
• Check and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) for compliance.
• Control site access and monitor entry points.
• Log incidents, near‑misses and corrective actions.
• Support the activation of emergency procedures and participate in drills.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and current legislation.
• Promote safety best practices and assist in internal training sessions.

Required profile

• Technical or professional training in industrial safety, occupational risk prevention or a related field.
• Ability to work in a plant environment with strong attention to detail.
• Responsible attitude and focus on continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and take part in emergency simulations when required.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent position.
• Salary $525 (USD) per month.
• Work schedule: three days 6 am‑4 pm, two days 7 am‑5 pm; days off Tuesday and Thursday.
• On‑site work at our plant in San Juan Opico.
