About the role

The Operations Assistant supports the daily activities of the logistics department, ensuring that storage, handling, and order preparation are carried out according to company guidelines and timelines. This role is essential for maintaining smooth flow of goods from import/export documentation to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of containers within defined time frames, respecting product type requirements.
• Verify import and export documents to ensure legal compliance.
• Track and follow up on commercial orders to meet external client service needs.
• Organize physical inventory by expiration dates to keep product rotation KPIs up‑to‑date.
• Check weight, detail, and quantity of products for truck loading, prioritizing routes and customers.
• Monitor temperature logs for storage chambers to guarantee product traceability.
• Maintain inventory records for baskets in plant and in transit, reporting shortages or excesses.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar logistics or operations role.
• Ability to work according to established procedures and schedules.
