Bank Reconciliation Assistant

About the role

The Bank Reconciliation Assistant ensures that cash amounts recorded in the company’s accounting ledgers match the balances reported by banks. This role involves reviewing batch files, verifying ledger entries, and supporting month‑end financial close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and match batch files to general ledger items accurately.
• Communicate with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve inquiries and issues.
• Research reconciling items on assigned accounts, determine internal or external causes, notify relevant parties, and follow up until resolved.
• Review bank statements and compare batch balances against ledger amounts.
• Post month‑end journal entries related to cash and bank balances.

Required profile

• Advanced level of English.
• Studies in finance‑related fields preferred.
• Ability to meet concurrent deadlines.
• Work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving mindset and initiative.
