About the role
We are building a regulated digital‑asset exchange in El Salvador and need a leader who can unite technology and risk functions. The Chief Technology & Risk Officer will shape how the company operates, ensuring the platform is secure, resilient, compliant and scalable.
Key responsibilities
- Define technology strategy and oversee cybersecurity initiatives.
- Manage infrastructure and ensure operational resilience under extreme market conditions.
- Lead enterprise and technology risk management, including business continuity.
- Establish institutional‑grade controls for digital‑asset custody and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate the control environment surrounding digital assets and financial‑crime safeguards.
Required profile
- Deep understanding of technology architecture and ability to challenge risk decisions.
- Proven experience building institutional‑grade controls and translating complex technical concepts into secure, scalable platforms.
