Commercial Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Commercial Sales Representative to drive new business and expand our customer base in the logistics sector. You will work closely with operations to deliver tailored shipping and transportation solutions to a diverse range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers.
• Identify companies with international shipping and logistics needs.
• Develop relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
• Sell ocean, air, trucking, warehousing, and logistics solutions.
• Follow up consistently and close new business.
• Manage and grow your customer base.
• Work closely with Operations to ensure excellent customer service.
• Meet monthly sales and gross profit goals and objectives.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or supply chain is preferred.
• Strong prospecting and cold‑calling skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated and results‑oriented.
• Ability to develop relationships with decision‑makers at any level of an organization.
• Organized, persistent, and comfortable working independently.
• Existing customer relationships in logistics or international trade will be a major advantage.
