Construction Estimator - Framing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented professional to join our pre‑construction team. In this role, you will analyze architectural and structural blueprints to generate precise material takeoffs and competitive cost estimates for both light‑gauge/structural steel framing and wood framing packages. Your calculations and strategic bids will directly drive our project profitability and operational success.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze architectural and structural blueprints to produce material takeoffs and cost estimates for steel and wood framing.
• Perform drafting, layout work, calculations, and budgeting for all construction details.
• Prepare drawings from supplied plans and sketches and execute component‑based material take‑offs from shop drawings.
• Manage day‑to‑day workflow, prioritize and assign projects, and calculate project time and budget estimates.
• Ensure finished projects align with customer and project requirements.
• Perform any other job‑related duties as required.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (upper‑intermediate to proficient).
• Strong engineering or architectural background with verifiable experience.
• 2+ years of construction estimating experience, specifically with wood and steel framing systems.
• Professional attitude, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work with expert teams.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
