About the role

The Assistant Accountant will support the company's accounting and administrative activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and compliance with internal procedures. This position is based in San Salvador, with the possibility of moving to the new offices in San Juan Opico once they are completed.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review accounting entries.
• Prepare and organize accounting and financial documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Help prepare accounting and financial reports.
• Review invoices, vouchers and related documentation.
• Support monthly closing processes.
• Maintain an orderly and up‑to‑date accounting filing system.
• Perform other accounting‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Public Accounting, Accounting or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in accounting or administrative roles.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Strong organization, responsibility and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
