About the role

We are looking for a qualified General Accountant to join our finance team in Soyapango, San Salvador. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage tax obligations, including filing declarations and maintaining tax books.
• Generate financial reports, statements and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with financial and tax auditors during audits.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and legal books.

Required profile

• Age between 25 and 45 years.
• Degree in Public Accounting.
• Valid professional accountant credential and seal.
• Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Base salary of $1,500 per month.
